Many great films have been created as adaptations of books, plays, real stories, and other films. Are there any general principles for successful adaptation? Kamill Akhmetov, a screenwriter and writer, and a lecturer at the HSE Institute of Film and the Moscow Film School, will demonstrate that the concept of adaptation is much broader than previously thought, and that the creation of any story is nothing more than adapting it to the format of cinema.
