An exhibition of digital art by artist and photographer Olga Michi is waiting for you. The author takes photographs of artefacts as the basis of her projects, which are then creatively processed using computer technology. The main theme of the exhibition is masks, a complex conceptual tool with many functions, both literal and metaphorical. By means of masking Olga Michi expresses abstract subjective perceptions on the basis of documentary material.
The exhibition addresses the philosophical question of what is deity and how the representation of it is transformed under the influence of socio-cultural changes. The use of neural network creative tools is not limited to two-dimensional works of digital art. The project also includes dynamic compositions that combine the aesthetics of static easel painting with the animation possibilities of video art, as well as works with a holographic effect that explore the boundary between planar and plastic arts.
The author uses the technology of photographic printing with the application of dibond and plastification of works – which gives them an additional effect of volume and depth. All visitors will have an opportunity to find themselves in augmented reality by scanning QR codes placed in the exposition.
