Hundreds of filmmakers from different countries gathered in Smolensk these days. The 9th International Documentary Film Festival of the CIS Countries «Eurasia.DOC» has started there.

Our documentary film «Enemy Number Three» became the opening film of the largest film forum. The film about the legendary artist and master of photo montage Alexander Zhitomirsky was presented by director Vladimir Sumashedov.

This year, the main program of «Eurasia.DOC» includes 35 documentaries from directors from 9 countries. They cover a wide range of topics: the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, modern challenges and social issues, the preservation of traditions and culture, and personal stories and destinies of people against the backdrop of historical events.
