The Béton Visual Culture Center was founded to promote and develop photography and contemporary art in Russia.

The BÉTON Visual Culture Center opened in April 2022. The Center is located in the center of Moscow on Yakimanskaya Embankment and has an exhibition space and a bookstore.

The main activity of the Center is the study and promotion of photography.

The exhibition hall of the Center hosts personal and group exhibitions of both domestic and foreign photographers, organized by the curators of the center and invited specialists.

The Center holds both museum-format photography exhibitions and commercial exhibitions and sales of works by contemporary authors. The space can be transformed for specific exhibition projects and presentation events.

The Center also holds traveling exhibitions in museum spaces and galleries in Russia and around the world.

An important task is to promote photographers collaborating with the Center. Anyone can always purchase works by contemporary authors.

The BÉTON CEC owns and collects a collection of original works by photographers, from the first daguerreotypes to works by contemporary authors.

The work of the Center is based on individual work with collectors. The Center has created comfortable conditions for this work and dialogue. Photo collectors are assisted not only in choosing works, but also given an assessment of the historical and art value of photo prints.
